THE BIBLE
Both the Old and New Testament are the inspired, inerrant Word of God. Human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, wrote the Bible. It is the authoritative guide for our lives.
GOD
God is the Creator and Ruler of everyone and everything. He is the one God who has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
JESUS
Jesus is the Son of God. He was equally God and man while on the earth. He lived a sinless life and then offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all through His death on a cross. He arose from the grave after three days, demonstrating His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again to reign as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
SALVATION
Salvation is a gift from God. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. We are saved when we receive God’s gift of salvation. In the New Testament people received it when they; Trusted Jesus (John 3:16), Repented of sin ( Acts 17:30), Confessed Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:9,10) and were baptized into Christ (Acts 2:38).
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is at work in the world helping unbelievers become aware of their need for Jesus. He also lives within every believer, providing them with power for godly living, while equipping them with special abilities to care for others.
ETERNITY
We will exist eternally; either separated from God by sin, or in union with Him through salvation. To be eternally separated from God is to dwell in Hell. To be eternally in union with God is to dwell in Heaven.
